@josh Is there a problem with Sharptools right now (4:43 PM EST)? I cannot launch either of my dashboards, neither on my Android phone nor on my Windows laptop in Chrome.
Update At 8:42 PM CST, Google posted an update that the issue has been resolved and our community members have confirmed that things are back to normal.
Update: At 4:27 PM CST, Google posted an update indicating that they are seeing elevated number of permissions errors resulting in access issues for authenticated resources.
We will post updates in this thread as Google provides more detail or you can follow Google’s incident tracker directly.
No, there are no known issues and I’m able to access dashboards, control devices, and get status updates: (3:51 PM CST)
Was your Android phone connected to the same network as your Windows laptop? If so, I would try disconnected from your Wifi and have the phone only on the cellular connection as a test.
It was on my wifi. But I managed to get in. I logged out of one of the dashboards on my phone and then logged in again. Now both dashboards seem to be working. Just waiting for my laptop to reboot to try it again.
issue here as well, on my pi it was stuck loading, signed out and in, but still just spinning
it’s setup as a kiosk so limited controls and troubleshooting options
it was the same on my desktop computer as well, windows 11 and latest chrome, signed out and back inn and its working there
same internet connection, but different vlan, and the pi is on wifi and the desktop is cabel.
My laptop refuses to get past this circle of death.
My phone displays the dashboard ok. While on my wifi. My desktop computer also just displays the circle. Any ideas?
If anyone else experiences this, I would be curious what you see in your browser’s console logs when you try to open the page and it gets stuck loading. (How to open Browser Developer Console)
Feel free to send a note to support@sharptools.io with a screenshot.
Did you try logging out and logging back in on your desktop?
If that doesn’t help, you could try incognito mode and if that works, then you could clear your browsers data/cache (Ctrl+Shift+Delete or Command+Shift+Delete on most browsers).
Incognito mode does not work either after logging in. That is, launch incognito mode, click my bookmark, log in, then just get the circle.
Just the loading circle for me as well. Only have my phone to test at the moment. Logging out and in doesn’t work.
Noticed earlier, maybe a couple of hours ago that all my icons didn’t load.
Here’s my console log from chrome (truncated to meet length limit)

Nothing on my account page seems to load. Authorized locations, resources…
And now I am working again. I launched the browser. Got the circle. Clicked on the account drop down menu. Then clicked on Logout. Closed the browser. Launched the browser. Clicked on my bookmark. Logged in. Got the circle. Went to Account, then Logout again. Closed the browser. Did it all over again, and now I am in!!!
Very weird.
That seems to match up with the status message that Google just posted to their status page.

We’re currently investigating an elevated number of permissions errors, resulting in access issues for authenticated issues for Firestore.
Here’s more food for thought. Because you posted the info about Google, I wanted to see what Microsoft Edge would do. So I tried logging in. It also is gave me the circle. So I had to force it to log out. Then upon the second log in attempt, I got my dashboard.
So is it something Google provides you at your end, as opposed to browsers at our end?
Yes, most of our platform is hosted on Google Cloud and they are experiencing elevated error rates with authorizations at the moment (specifically to the backend database).
Having issues as well. Using Fire Tablet 10 and FKB. Keeps asking me to log in over and over again. Dashboard shows up when I log in. But goes back to asking for it again when I cycle back to my dashboard (I have a cycle of pages as my dash, sharptools being several of them)
I too am having the same issue, ST dashboard not loading
I have lost connection to all my Dashboard and all my Rules.
When I try to access them I just get a spinning circle.
If I go to the “Account” page I just see a Swiping line under “Authorized Locations”.
The same if I go to “Manage Resource”
The incident happened while I was in the process of correcting a rule.
Apparently, in each case some of my rules that I have been able to test work. But I can’t change anything
I have tried logging out and logging back in with no luck.
Suggestions are gratefully received
Hi @William_Lie - I merged your post into an existing thread on the same topic. You can find more details on the issue in post #14 further up in the thread
