[Resolved] Loading Issues, Upstream Service Issue

Just the loading circle for me as well. Only have my phone to test at the moment. Logging out and in doesn’t work.
Noticed earlier, maybe a couple of hours ago that all my icons didn’t load.

Nothing on my account page seems to load. Authorized locations, resources…

And now I am working again. I launched the browser. Got the circle. Clicked on the account drop down menu. Then clicked on Logout. Closed the browser. Launched the browser. Clicked on my bookmark. Logged in. Got the circle. Went to Account, then Logout again. Closed the browser. Did it all over again, and now I am in!!!

Very weird.

That seems to match up with the status message that Google just posted to their status page.

We’re currently investigating an elevated number of permissions errors, resulting in access issues for authenticated issues for Firestore.

Here’s more food for thought. Because you posted the info about Google, I wanted to see what Microsoft Edge would do. So I tried logging in. It also is gave me the circle. So I had to force it to log out. Then upon the second log in attempt, I got my dashboard.

So is it something Google provides you at your end, as opposed to browsers at our end?

Yes, most of our platform is hosted on Google Cloud and they are experiencing elevated error rates with authorizations at the moment (specifically to the backend database).

Having issues as well. Using Fire Tablet 10 and FKB. Keeps asking me to log in over and over again. Dashboard shows up when I log in. But goes back to asking for it again when I cycle back to my dashboard (I have a cycle of pages as my dash, sharptools being several of them)

I too am having the same issue, ST dashboard not loading

I have lost connection to all my Dashboard and all my Rules.
When I try to access them I just get a spinning circle.
If I go to the “Account” page I just see a Swiping line under “Authorized Locations”.
The same if I go to “Manage Resource”
The incident happened while I was in the process of correcting a rule.
Apparently, in each case some of my rules that I have been able to test work. But I can’t change anything
I have tried logging out and logging back in with no luck.
Suggestions are gratefully received

Hi @William_Lie - I merged your post into an existing thread on the same topic. You can find more details on the issue in post #14 further up in the thread

Don’t know if this is helpful. None of my devices on my home network connected through Verizon FIOS work. Same with my iPhone on home network. But when I switch off wifi on the phone - AT&T - dashboards work fine.

It seems to be a mixture of regionalized and intermittent from what I can tell. Some people are able to get things to work after a few tries of logging out and logging back in. And I personally haven’t been impacted by it yet on any of my test devices.

Occurring on Safari and other devices —- on Frontier FIOS

Switched off WiFi and hit the dashboards via 5G/AT&T like someone else suggested and it is solved. Wonder if Frontier is having some type of routing issue

Florida also if that helps.

Doesnt work for me, same errors as everyone is explaining.

Coming from Norway, tried VPN thru US, UK and Australia to no avail.
Must be somenthing at Shartools, at least not regional…

Regards
Tommy

I should clarify that it appears to be multi-regional. We’ll have to wait for Google’s official analysis as right now I can only infer based on what’s being reported.

I also tried connecting to various VPN endpoints and I was not able to reproduce the issue with any of the connections, but Google’s global network ingress is quite vast and complex (global anycast, sticky sessions, etc). It’s possible those VPN endpoints still end up trying into similar ‘clean’ ingress paths into Google’s network.

That’s an interesting data point as I’m using ATT Fiber. I tried from T-Mobile (DFW) and it’s fine there too.

Well, it’s definitely intermittent. I got mine working before, but now it’s down again. I’m in the Toronto, Canada area. My cellular carrier and my home internet are two different providers and it is not working on either.

No Dashboards here as well. Logging out and back in not successful. Changing to Cell no luck either.

QUESTION: Are existing rules running successfully and just no dashboards?
