Change indigo color

Just starting out and viewing a dashboard in full screen on my iPhone 15, there is the indigo color at the top of the screen where the Dynamic Island is. Is there a way to change that color? I would like it to be black or have the option to change the color

Would love to see this, too. I believe the request has been raised a few times. Even if we can’t have control over the colour, I feel that black would be a much more suitable option over indigo. Fingers crossed!

I did some quick testing with this and it seems like there’s not a quick solution.

From my testing, iOS 15 seemed a bit finicky – Apple has a custom property for setting the status bar color, but iOS 15 doesn’t respect the values that are officially published by Apple (though it does work with some undocumented values). And unfortunately, iOS 15 only respects those values if we don’t set the standard ‘theme’ color which is a broader industry standard respected by a much wider set of browsers… which means trying to get a black status bar with just iOS 15 seems to impact pretty much every other browser in a negative way.

I’ve converted this topic into a feature request so other people can vote to express interest.

@Robert_Lynch I believe you had tried Kiosk Pro at one point and you had some issues with it not hanging onto your authentication token. Have you tried it recently and does it still have the same issue?

  • From what I recall, this is probably the closest to Fully as it has features like screensavers, wake on tap, wake on camera (iOS 11+), etc.
• Kiosk Pro
  • This used to be the only professional tier kiosk app on the app store. It has a bunch of features, but seems to have a focus on the commercial / enterprise market.
• WebFrame Kiosk
  • I hadn’t seen this one before, but it seems to have basic kiosk features also offers a free version to try the app before you commit.
