Hi,
It would be practical to have a button to “force” trigger a rule in the rule manager. This woud be useful when testing rules and avoid having to generate the real trigger from within our HA system.
I would see this in the 3 dots menu to the right of each rule

Thanks for the feedback. In the meantime, if your rule doesn’t depend on having a device trigger it (or at least it isn’t critical to have that event in the rule flow), you can add the rule to a dashboard and trigger it from there.
I have a generic ‘Rules’ dashboard that I often use for testing rules that need a lot of tinkering.
Wish I had known this before now because I keep hoping for a run button, but a tile on a dashboard will work.
