Visiabilaty based on a variable

Hi there

I’m wanting to make different tiles appear and disappear depending on a variable. Is this something that can be done?

I was thinking about the same thing based on a virtual switch in SmartThings. I think it’ll be difficult to ensure the layout looks OK.

Maybe if it became invisible, but visible (with an indicator on it) when editing the dashboard.

I’d be down for that.

Im thinking of making different tiles at different times of the day. A variable controlling it was the only way i could of this it working

Another approach is to use a Super Tile.

Since Super Tiles can mix and match data from Things and Variables, you could use the variable to control if an icon was displayed or not, for example… or to even style the whole tile as invisible.
