Variable theme background color

Hi!

I have been trying to find a way to change the dashboard background color dynamically (not individual tiles but the whole dashboard). For example change to black at night and white at daytime. I have tried to find a way to use custom css, but haven’t found how to reference to a device state or a variable value from css. Is there away to do that alternativelly a better way?

I can’t think of anything off the top of my head at the moment, but I’ll leave it open to the community for their feedback as I’m often surprised by the creative approaches!
