Spacer Tiles are no longer counted against the 15 tile limit in the Free Tier!
Previously, when building a dashboard using the Free Tier, any tile added to the dashboard would count against your 15 tile limit. This made it difficult to layout dashboards to display your beautiful backgrounds since Spacer Tiles were needed to be able to leave empty space between your tiles to let the background shine through.
Our goal for the free tier has always been to enable people who are just getting started with their smart home or those who just want to display a subset of their devices to do so for free. We hope this change helps you better achieve that goal!
