I have a question, what tablet do you recommend for wall mounting and dashboard display?
It is important that the device is available in Europe
The second thing is whether your tablets are turned off or are lit 24 hours a day?
I’m using a 10 year old Huawei T10, but that’s getting a bit slow.
You don’t really need a lot if it’s just to run Sharptools.
The tablet is turned on 24/7, you can run it with an app called Fully Kiosk Browser for example, which enables the tablet to use it’s camera or sensors to enable/disable the screen when you stand in front of it. It also ensures Sharptools is always loaded and ready to use.
Will every tablet with a front camera wake it up in a Fully kiosk, or does the tablet have to have a proximity sensor or something else? I just want to run SharpTools on it, nothing else.
A camera is enough, that’s how I use mine.
