I’m having a fair bit of trouble with intermittent Internet connection dropouts back to my carrier connection at the moment and is unlikely to be resolved for a few months until a fibre connection replaces my copper VDSL connection.
In the meantime some of my Hubitat devices are missing state changes on my Dashboards when one of these dropouts occur as Hubitat runs locally (things are still happening) and independent from the Internet for which Sharptools relies on obtaining any updates from the Hub.
The way to resynchronise the devices I found in Sharptools was to go to My Account, View Connections, reselect Hubitat Hub, sign into Hub, leave all previous devices selected then Authorise.
So my question is, can I set up a rule to initiate a device resync with a button on my dashboard or perhaps a rule that invokes a resync every 1/2hr or so? I couldn’t see a way to do this with the available options when setting up a rule.
