Super Tile help

Maybe trying to do the impossible here, but will ask anyway and still early in my journey with SharpTools so may be i am missing something.

Have created a supertile to show the voltage on a Tempest weather station.
It is connected to a top-up charger for when the solar radiation is low and the onboard battery voltage drops to low. This is switched on by a Aeotec smart socket in the garden shed. All works well.

What i want to achieve is a gauge as shown below but with a battery symbol that shows up when is is being charged.

I have created a tile with the Aeotec thing and removed all the data apart from the battery icon, which only shows when is is charging, uses blank icon when not charging.

When i try and place a thing, either as an icon / thing or just a simple thing on a supertile, I can not get the icon to show up as with a normal tile.

Not a deal breaker if i can not do it, but it would tidy up dashboard and just put a smile on my face !

Can you clarify how you are adding it to your Super Tile?

I would normally expect something like:

  1. Edit the Super Tile and tap [Add Item] at the bottom
  2. Expand Icons → Thing Icon
    a. Select your desired Thing
    b. Select the switch attribute
  3. Select the ? placeholder icon and tap the cog to edit it
  4. Tap the Select Icons button
    a. Add an entry with an icon selection for each state
    • on → Icon
    • off → (blank system icon)

Pay close attention to the capitalization as attribute values are almost always reported as all lowercase.

Works a treat now, i had everything up to the state.
Did not know there were case sensitive, once corrected it works as expected.
