I’ve done the create a shortcut from safari. It works fine but then on 2 iPad minis it occasionally goes blank and then doesn’t connect back. Sometimes it says socket disconnected or trying to connect to socket.
On the big iPad, it too will flash blank but it will reconnect. Not sure what’s happening on the smaller ones.
Can you share more details about the iPad Minis? What specific model are they and what version of iPad OS are they currently running?
Can you tell me more about the devices flashing blank? Does it happen when you interact with the devices or you’re seeing it happen while you’re sitting on your couch or something? If it’s something you’re able to reproduce, it might be helpful to capture a video of it and share on YouTube / Google Drive / iCloud so I can try to better understand what’s happening.
