Smartthings paid model

With samsung talking about thier paid model for the API, does sharptools fall under that banner. I know with their announcement there is still a lack of clarity based on much of the comments from the community developers.

@Jeff_Gallagher1 there’s a bit of confusion over on the smartthings forums as what the status will be for community developers and one person over there has said sharp tools will have to pay but it would have been nice to at least yo hear something from this side. I just recently signed up but I dont appreciate the radio silence.

SharpTools dashboards will continue to work without changes on your side.

There are still aspects of the SmartThings Commercial API program that haven’t been made public yet, so I can’t comment on those. Our (free) Rule Engine accounts for a much larger share of our SmartThings API usage, so that’s the area I’m still working through.
