Samsung appliances

I have several Samsung appliances that are connected to SmartThings. Each has many attributes exposed, and I have been able to do some rudimentary things with my ST dashboard, (like current freezer temp or are doors open / closed) via guessing and trial/error.

Does anyone know where to find a list of what each of the exposed attributes are (description) and their valid values?

You can see what capabilities, attributes, and commands the device exposes:

  1. Open your SharpTools User Page
  2. Tap the ... next to the location in question
  3. Scroll down and tap on the device in question

SmartThings usually does a decent job making the commands and attributes relatively intuitive, but some of the Samsung devices tend to have complicated custom integrations.

Sometimes you can refer to the SmartThings Capabilities documentation for reference to help out.

Otherwise sometimes it’s just best to post in the community if you’re trying to do something specific and see if anyone else has done the same thing. :smiley:
