[Resolved] Temporarily Lost Hubitat Location and Devices

Woke up this morning to an error… refreshed my screen. I got this.

I tried to reconnect and it seems successful, bit night came back…


Is this on Hubitat?

As a first step, I would try rebooting the hub, then waiting several minutes for things to settle down before trying to authorize again.

It sounds like the hub is getting hung up during authorization / device sync.

Rebooted the hub… and still shows no connection to my hubitat…

Also when I try to reconnect it. It goes though all the steps but still shows the same screen.

Can you clarify what you mean by “after you reconnect it, it goes through all the steps”? Just to confirm, you’re starting the authorization process from SharpTools.io, right?

  1. Open your SharpTools.io User Page
  2. Tap Manage Connections
  3. Select Hubitat
  4. Follow the authorization prompts

Then once you’re returned to SharpTools.io, you should see a success message indicating that the system was able to authorize your account. At that point, it will start syncing the devices over.

Based on your screenshot, it looks like you’re in the beta program, so you’ll also see a progress bar (on the authorization success page) showing the progress as it syncs things over.

Are those the steps you’re taking and that’s what you’re seeing?

Yes. Correct. … I’ll leave the progress screen go and confirm . But to answer the questions yes.
