Random commands sent

I have an Amazon Fire panel, running Wallpanel to display Sharptools linked to a SmartThings hub. I have no rules configured. This setup has been working great for over 2 years, and nothing has been changed. 3 or 4 times now, the panel has started randomly sending commands. I had no idea why my lights were going on and off, but today I happened to catch sight of the panel and saw a series of the ‘command sent’ notifications. Has anyone ever had or heard of this happening? Is it perhaps a hardware issue with the panel? Any thoughts or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Thank you!

Do you have Amazon Alexa? If so, is “HUNCHES” enabled?

If you saw command sent messages on the tablet when no one was there, it’s likely to be a hardware issue. Some devices, especially older devices or lower cost digitizers/touch panels can start to experience phantom touch input.

If it’s mostly a view only type of dashboard, you might be able to use the view only/touch lock mode in fully kiosk browser so you can squeeze a bit more life out of the tablet.

Hello, thank you for the responses. I don’t think we have hunches, but the comment from Josh I think is possible. It was an inexpensive panel, and it is 2 and a half years old. It is also mounted in a 3d printed case, I wonder if that could be apply pressure somehow to make it worse. Just odd that it started suddenly after this much time.
