I have used OpenWeatherMap with Sharptools for a weather widget and it worked well for 2 years. Unfortunately it recently stopped displaying information.
I’ve tried:
Importing the custom widget again
Creating a new API key on OpenWeatherMap, and using that
and while it will appear fine in preview, it won’t load for me once in the Sharptools dashboard, regardless of device or browser. Any ideas?
Have you verified that the dashboard is using the same Custom Tile and configuration, including API Key and API version?
The API Key is stored in the tile settings, so you would need to edit the dashboard and edit the tile to update that.
If it works in the Custom Tile preview, it should work on the dashboard with the same exact settings.
Thank you for your help! I failed to realize the settings from ‘preview’ wouldn’t carry over. After editing the custom tile and adding back in the API key etc it works again.
