When trying to create a rule using the Rules Engine, it appears that SharpTools doesn’t have a direct “current date and time” context variable to set a given variable to like some other automation platforms might have.
It also appears the SharpTools Rules Engine also doesn’t offer an “Every X minutes” scheduling option, which could impact how frequently I can poll sensor data. I would like to be able to specify a repeating time interval within my rule as a trigger event to poll my sensors i.e: “every X minutes” vs. daily/weekly/none.
Can this be achieved?
