I created a rule in rule engine taking the temperature from my ecobee downstairs but in variables im still not getting the temp, im getting 0. Im trying to setup each room wotj tenps then combine for an upstairs and downstairs temp. I have no problem selecting temperature from my air quality sensors, just ecobees. I also noticed logs are empty in rules for the ecobees.
Have you verified that exact attribute has updated? That description sounds like the temperate attribute on that device hasn’t updated yet so the rule hasn’t triggered.
@josh so pretty much I cant use my ecobees to report temp or humidity becasue even though they work fine in smartthings and there is a history, when I setup test sensors in sharptools, the logs are empty. So when I tried it with the temp from the door contactact sensor it works. So for now im working with what sensors inhave and i think im gonna add a few temp humidity sensors from ikea. Ive also logged out, reviewed authorized and deleted and re added the ecobees but nothing.
