Is there a way to replace device?

Hi,

I have a sharptools dashboard and there is device 1. I’m removing device 1 from ST and replacing it with new device 2. I would like to keep outfit of the device 1 and just replace device 1 with device 2 inside of the device tile. Is that possbile or do I need to remove device tile and create new device tile… and set outfit as wanted?

No matter what you answer it would be cool if device inside tile could be changed easily…

You would need to remove the device tile and create a new one with the desired settings.

That being said, I think the following feature request at least partially addresses your concern if you want to cast a vote and comment on it:

Copy tile to new 'thing'

Once a tile has been customised with different style states etc (which takes time), it would be great to then copy that tile, not only to any other dashboard but to also be able to assign that style (template) to another new tile and assign to a different ‘thing’ or device. This way, if you have multiple things of the same device type, you can apply the same style theme to all of them quickly.
