How to change password for hubitat account in sharptools?

I am having a problem with reauthorizing hubitat hubs. I have 2 active hubs that have been connected to sharptools for nearly 5 years, but this morning for some reason they were deauthorized. I have no idea why. When I try to reauthorize them they time out on the oauth hubitat page. I verified the hubs are working fine and reachable from outside my network in a couple different ways so it’s not an issue with the hubs. I thought maybe it was a password issue so I reset my hubitat account password, but sharptools won’t let me update my password in any place I can find. Anyone know how to force a new password into the hubitat authorization login process from sharptools?

Thanks in advance!

SharpTools doesn’t see your Hubitat password ever as part of the authorization process. The auth process is handed off to Hubitat’s authorization servers for that flow.

That being said, I’ve noticed in the past that Hubitat’s authorization flow can hang onto a logged in session for longer than expected and you can usually use an incognito window to workaround that. But you would already be logged in with that case, so I’m wondering if you might be referring to something else.

If you are referring to the existing authorization for your hub(s) it’s actually a separate authorization token that gets issued when you reauthorize the hub. You can reauthorize the hub from your SharpTools User Page > Manage Connections.

If you are having difficulty with the authorization, I would first try rebooting the hub, then wait several minutes for it to boot up and stabilize, then retry the authorization starting from your User Page > Manage Connections.

If that doesn’t help, can you share screenshots of the error messages or issues you are encountering?
