How do I use a virtual switch on my.dashboard?

How can I install a tile on my dashboard that when pressed it will activate a virtual switch that is in a SmartThings routine?

Create the Virtual / Simulated Switch in SmartThings, reauthorize the location to SharpTools (to sync the new device over), then add it to your dashboard like a normal ‘Thing’

I can’t seem to reautherize SmartThings.

Could it be that I am using SharpTools on a trial basis right now?

Can you share more detail? Are you running into an error that you could attach a screenshot of? What step of the process are you experiencing issues with?

Being on trial should not impact the ability to re-authorize the same location.

I installed a virtual switch device on SmartThings and would like to access it on my Sharptools dashboard as a device. I also tried to reautherize SmartThings but the dial kept rotating and couldn’t complete the authorization. Seems like I can’t add the virtual switch device to the dashboard as it is not listed in available devices.

Can you share a screenshot of the rotating dial? I’m trying to better understand where in the process it is failing.

Josh, it finally worked this time on my MacBook, (Manage Connections), and i was able to see it listed (vEdge Switch 1) for addition to my dashboard, and it is working well. Thanks for your help.
