Honeywell Total Connect thermostat doesn’t work with sharptools

My Honeywell thermostats only read temperature and humidity in sharp tools. There is no control over the thermostat itself. Sharp tools must not be seeing it as a thermostat. They work fine in SmartThings and also in ActionTiles. I’ve searched to see if others have had problems and tried the obvious things, but still doesn’t work. Any ideas?

Hi Peter-
Welcome to the community! Have you tried changing it to the Thermostat Tile layout? I’m wondering if it might be getting recognized as a different tile type.

If that doesn’t work, can you share a screenshot of the device details page showing the reported capabilities and attributes? The device details page is in the same area where you find the doc id per this article:

Nothing works when presses.

It looks like the thermostat is in off mode. Can you try tapping the ‘Adjust’ in the bottom left corner of the thermostat to change the mode to an active heating / cooling / auto mode.

If that doesn’t help, can you clarify what happens when you try to adjust the heating or cooling setpoint up/down? Are you getting an error message?

I deleted theTotal Connect and thermostats on SmartThings, then reinstalled them. I then Authorized again on Sharptools and everything now works. I don’t know why but it’s now fine. Thank you for helping.

Honeywell integration with Samsung has issues and there is nothing but finger pointing between them. I have several cases open as we have one house with 16 thermostats (boiler) and another five with 14 each. I just signed up as a developer with Honeywell API so I could see if direct pulls from Honeywell had the same issue.
