It seems that the zigbee chip in my homey is stuck. What should I do if Athom will replace the Homey or if I buy the new one? I wanna keep my dashboards of course and not rebuild them…
As long as the device IDs stay the same - for example, you are able to backup on the old hub and restore on the new hub - then you should be able to complete the authorization on your new Homey hub and select the existing location in SharpTools to sync to.
Note that during the authorization flow, the default suggested location is matched based on a fingerprint stored in the hub, so if the ‘app’ settings get migrated it should suggest the correct location by default.
If it doesn’t suggest the expected location, you can always tap the MORE OPTIONS link and the select a different existing location:
