Has anyone had any luck getting blink or skybell doorbell cameras to work with sharptools? I just want the video to show up on the tablet once motion is detected then return to fully kiosk once it stops. Or should I just go ahead and switch cameras?
I have the same issue. I have investigated a variety of devices and apps, but so far the only system that integrates with Blink is Amazon Alexa. I believe some people have created hacks that provide limited functionality (HA, I believe), but I do not want to invest more money into another system. I think the problem is Amazon will not build an API for smarthome systems because they want to be the smarthome ruler.
IFTTT now has Blink initegration.
Will Sharptools offer anything anytime soon?
You could use IFTTT to update SharpTools. The SharpTools Rule HTTP Trigger article even has an example for IFTTT.
