Thought I’d share an example of bringing in the weird, funny, and yet sometimes official celebrations, e.g., ‘Today is Change Your Password Day,’ ‘National Girls and Women in Sports Day,.’ There are 8 others for today (Feb 1).
(This was a request from my daughter.)
I created a news feed (rss) and displayed it on a dashboard, but also wanted to consume it as a variable to be able to push to my daughter’s phone each morning.
Since I couldn’t find a way to consume the rss, I’m passing it through a rss2json api to parse the json.
