Since the recent update when I attempt to change the tile color or tile icon the entire tile is removed from the dashboard. I did not have this issue before the April update and would like some help with it. Thank you.
Thanks for posting and sorry to hear that the tiles aren’t showing up as expected. Have you recently updated your Hubitat Hub software version or added new apps/devices to your Hubitat hub?
The most common cause for this is the Hubitat hub not responding when trying to sync over devices. Which itself it most commonly caused by issues on the hub itself causing it to get locked up or slow down.
If it’s just a one-time thing after a hub software update, the most common solution is to reboot your Hubitat hub, wait several minutes for things to calm back down, then reauthorize your devices:
- Open your SharpTools.io User Page
- Tap Manage Connections
- Tap Hubitat
- Follow the authorization prompts
If something changed recently like adding a new device or app in Hubitat, you’ll want to identify what the change is as it will likely begin impacting other parts of your hub as well. (Hubitat’s cloud relay is more sensitive to these changes though) Common culprits are community developed device drivers - especially weather devices.
