Request is for a hex value method such as #555555 to select a color for a tile for both default and active. The current fixed color palette is nice - and simple. But is also a creative block. 
Would be great to have a field in the color picker to allow for direct value selection (could be part of the upcoming themes?).
Maybe be just add a text field here ^^???
