Cannot logon to Fully Kiosk Browser- Prompts to create new account

Created a new account and series of dashboards after ActionTiles became inactive. It looks like ActionTiles will now cease to exist. So consider me one of the latest converts. :slight_smile:

I created the account and Dashboards on a PC and for the most part I have built a rudimentary series of Dashboards that show promise. I am using the Smarthings integration and setting up Sharptools to discover my devices has also gone well.

So I figured I would just take my main dashboard and load it into Fully Kiosk Browser on a Fire Tablet that is wall mounted. I used the method SharpTools App of dashboard. Well that took me to the main login page for Sharptools. OK I used my email address when I created the account on the PC so I tapped Email and then entered the email address that I used on the PC to create the original Sharptools account. Then it asked me for my full name and I realized it wanted me to create an entirely new account. That didā€™nt seem right!

So I then added my credentials to the Fully Kiosk Authentication area and tried to load the Main Dashboard URL within Fully Kiosk Browser on the Fire Tablet. It then presented me with the same screen to create a new account. I dont want to create a new account I want access to the account I have already created to display the dashboards that I have spent time to create.

So finally I thought OK I will create a new account and see if that somehow ā€œlinksā€ to the existing account. I used exactly the same information and strangely it created a new account with the same details as I added from the PC. When I logged into the new account there was no apparent way to access the other account with the Dashboards I created. So I scheduled that account for deletion.

How do I gain access to the existing account created on PC from the Fire Tablet running Fully Kiosk browser. I used to run ActionTiles on that tablet if it matters.

Second question: How does one hide the big bar at the top of Sharptools when displaying a Dashboard within a Chrome Browser Tabbed window? I just want to see the Dashboard and its contents and not the top navigation bar. I tried full screen which works , but I dont want full screen display.

the method that I indicate above was to use the sharptools.io / view / dashboard / alphanumeric representation of dashboard. The forum software converted that to SharpTools App statement. I cannot find an Edit option under the three dots below the post. Most Forum software does allow one to edit thier posts after they have been published.

Can you send a note to support@sharptools.io with the account details you are trying?

There can only be one SharpTools account associated with a particular login credential type (eg. a phone number or email can only be used once), so Iā€™m wondering if there might be some minor difference in each account.

If you are still logged into the ā€˜mainā€™ account on your PC, you can go to Manage Account > Credentials from your SharpTools User Page to review the existing credentials.

The SharpTools account associated with this community account has a comcast email with a numeric 0 in it and a phone number.

You can append ?kiosk=true to the URL to open the dashboard in kiosk mode with the top navigation bar hidden. Or from the dashboard list, tap the ... and choose to open the dashboard in Kiosk Mode.

It might be because your forum account is so new. As you continue to post, the forum software automatically unlocks higher ā€˜trust levelsā€™ with more features.

We experienced a bunch of spam where the spammers were posting real content and then editing it to try to bypass the forum spam detection, so we tweaked some of the editing features for brand new users (and also added some AI spam detection which seems to work really well).
