I’d like to be able to change my background based on the time of day. At sunset, change the background to a darker image and sunrise, to a brighter image (as an example).
In the rule engine, I can trigger on sunrise/sunset, but how can I trigger a Theme change or Background change as an action? Possibly setting as a day/night variable, but still can’t set a background based on a variable.

Where are you currently storing / sourcing your background images?
I’ve seen some other community members host a lightweight script which dynamically updates to point their desired image. Then they use the ‘Autorefresh’ feature to periodically refresh and get an updated image.
Thank you. I was able to make this work using a dynamic image hosted from the Hubitat hub. It works, but not great solution and introduces dependencies. I’ve upvoted the feature request.
