Anyone know how to make Fire tablet full screen?

I am using the Fully browser and it is supposed to open full screen. The blue Sharptools menu bar across the top disappears in full screen (good) but there is space at the bottom that could house another row of tiles (which I do not want). As a result, my tiles are smaller (and harder to read) than they need to be. I know this is an issue with Fully and not Sharptools, but I thought maybe a Sharptools user had found a fix?

Have tried everything, including full screen tab within ST, full screen within Fully, and ?kiosk=true. There is still an empty row at the bottom of my tablet screen.

That sounds more like how the dashboard is laid out. Sometimes you’ll want to tweak the tile size so the tiles better fill the whole screen vertically.

Normally I would start with tweaking the Number of Columns Wide in the dashboards setting as that has the biggest impact.

Then if you need some final fine tuning, you can flip the Advanced toggle on in the top-right corner of the dashboard settings so you can tweak the Tile Space (Gutter)

Thanks. That definitely improved things, tho there remains some space at the bottom. I would have thought the “full screen” commands would have addressed that. Certainly when I open the settings page for Fully browser, they display full screen. Odd. Anyway, this is basically resolved, so thank you!

Per your photo on the SharpTools Facebook group:

If you have approximately 1 tiles worth of space left at the bottom of your screen, one approach I’ve commonly seen used in the community is to double the height of one row of tiles. For example, edit all of your contact sensor tiles to be 2x height to fill the space.

I tried to approximate a recreation of your dashboard to demonstrate the approach I’m referring to:

Thanks for the suggestion and the time that went into the graphic. Your recommendation to use a smaller number of columns (I chose 7) improved things significantly, and help from Fully Browser (which recommended a reset) completed the solution. So I think we’re done on that one, thank you. I have more Qs but will raise separately so as not to confuse the community.
