I see from this forum that this, or something very close to it, was raised in 2019 as an area for further development, but I have not been able to see a solution:

I have a water intake valve which, through Smartthings, closes automatically if water sensors throughout the house detect moisture. In building my dashboard, Sharptools created a tile which in large letters displays the current status (open or closed) and then in small type in the bottom left hand corner offers clickable links to open or close. On my Fire 8 tablet, the links are quite tiny. In contrast, the tile for my garage door displays the current status (open or closed) and opens or closes with one tap on the tile. Is there anyway to configure the water intake tile so that it works the same way? I should add that it has been suggested to use Hero attribute for the intake tile, but i have not found a way to configure it to achieve the result I am looking for.

by default (?), the intake tile background is black. I have tried to change the color but to no avail. How do I do this please?
