Thanks for the feedback, Justin! We’ve been considering a concept of Themes / Styles that could be applied to dashboards and expose more granular control over various aspects of the dashboards and tiles.
I’ve noted this under the context of that feature enhancement.
Edit: 
Themes and Styles are now available and have an option for removing the shadow on tiles!
