I responded on the GitHub issue you linked to.
I think you just need to install the 2 DTHs, create a ‘server’ device, configure the IP/port fields on the ‘server’ device and save, then go back into the ‘server’ device and configure the player mac setting(s) and save.
After configuring the player MAC in the ‘server’ device configuration, it seems like it attempts to create the child ‘player’ devices for you.
