It would be nice if I could share a dashboard with a user that has not already created an account, in which case an email would be sent containing something like:
Fred wants to share “Camera Dashboard” with you. To view the dashboard you need to create an account here.
I think this is useful because most people I know absolutely hate creating accounts and thinking of passwords unless there is a clearly defined and immediate reward for doing so. Asking my non tech-savy family members to create an account and then to click on this strange URL is too overwhelming for them.
I would prefer that a shared dashboard to a non-user would still allow them access (no edits) to that dashboard without having to set up an account. IE… for kids or a neighbor (we share the same gate RGB light).
